Pedal Pub Golf: The Front Nine

Nine bars. One bike. Zero golf skill required.

A 4-hour private pub golf championship through South End. Your crew gets the bike, a scorecard, and nine of the neighborhood's best bars. Each bar is a hole, par is the number of sips it takes to finish one drink, and lowest total sips wins.

4. Groovers — "The B-Side" · bartender's-choice cocktail · par 4

5. Nickyo's Rodeo — "The Boot Scoot" · a drink in the cowboy boot · par 4

6. Blinders — "The Instant Replay" · any short cocktail or mocktail · par 3

7. Pins Mechanical — "The 7-10 Split" · pint + one duckpin frame (strike or spare = -1 stroke) · par 4

8. Monday Night Brewing — "The Garden Pour" · 5oz taster pour · par 3

9. Gin Mill — "The 19th Hole" · victory pint, dealer's choice · par 4

Course par: 35.

House rules: spill a drink (+2, water hazard). Lose a drink (+2 and buy a new one, out of bounds). One mulligan per round. Big crews can play best-ball scramble teams. Challenges are formats, not orders — any drink counts, including non-alcoholic. Golf attire encouraged. The bike is the cart. The cooler is the cart girl.

The details: private tour for up to 14 riders. Pickup at Suffolk Punch Brewing, 2911 Griffith St, unless you request otherwise — routes are fully customizable. BYOB on the bike, with karaoke, games, and motor assist when your legs file a complaint.
